Im 5ft 11 and weigh 132 lbs and im in 8th grade. I want to go raw-vegan. How can I convince my family that it is OK & healthy?

I'm 14 years old and I want to go raw-vegan. I wanted to try it out before I fully told my parents about it, so today and yesterday I only ate fruits, vegetables, and sunflower seeds and drank a ton of water. My mom, being the mother that she is, asked what I ate today. 8 month old baby fell off the bed last night.?

I feel like the worst mom in the world, I can't get over it. My fiance and I put our 8 month old son in his crib to go to sleep and he has been sick lately so he just screamed and screamed like he might go crazy so I grabbed him out of the crib to comfort him, and brought him in our room. I work full time, and don't much sleep as it is... I was tired beyond words and fell asleep. Well so did the baby, but when he woke up he crawled... Off the edge of the bed. Well we decided to take him in anyway... The dr at the ER said he looks okay. She examined him and said just keep an eye on it. He seems alright, maybe a little fussy but okay. Should I worry? I feel like such a terrible mother. I can't stand it I just wanted to cry for hours. Is it just me or does it seem like babies this age tend to bump into everything? Even if he is just sitting on the ground, he'll manage to scoot somewhere and bang his head on the wall, or on a door. I mean we watch him ALL the time. I cannot OVER protect him... It is something like the trot terms in dressage: sitting trot, working trot, extended trot. Western horses lope, canter, gallop. A lope is SUPPOSED to be a three beat gait, just much slower and more collected than a canter. Poor training, and trying to force a horse into a show lope cause a LOT of horses to do weird things, like f four beat, over cant, and over express the up and down with the front end, but these are NOT correct lopes.

sorry hon you're gonna have to live with a tan...it'll probably help with a higher spf like 50. You can't stop yourself from getting at least a shade lighter but you can make it happen slower. btw lighter colors help but actually black absorbs heat and light colors don't you just had it mixed up.

Your almost there, just tweak a few things: Get a deeper water bowl, corns like to crawl all over everything when they are hunting and he will eventually end up spilling the water out of a lid. They occasionally like to soak sometimes as well, so deeper is better. I'd also set up a hide on the cool side AND the hot side so he can alternate between the two. I use upside down clay flower pot holders (not the flower pots) with a hole punched in the lip so they can crawl in and out. Aspen is a better bedding because Corns like to burrow and will end up using the substrate as a giant hide while they tunnel through it. Everything else is about right although you may want to run a thermostat with the UTH so it doesn't overheat. Good Luck - I hope this helps.

Any of you mommies been diagnosed with Preeclampsia BEFORE 30 weeks?

With my first pregnancy I had PIH starting at about 7 months and was induced at 38 weeks. With #3 I had PIH the entire pregnancy (I have hypertension normally) and was placed on bed rest at 26 weeks due to preterm labor. At 36 weeks I started developing symptoms of preeclampsia (bp 155/105) and had to collect my urine for 24 hours. There was no protein in my urine but I ended up being induced at 37 weeks. I was put on procardia during my 3rd pregnancy and still take it now.

Why do so many people have rotten attitudes?

I am a nice person, I believe in seeing the good in all people, but it seems like no matter where I go or who ever I talk to they just make insults, curse at people, make fun of people, etc. I rarely find nice people who want to have intelligent non-insulting conversations rather they find someone walking down the street and say insulting things or start going off about some random person insulting their behavior or something. Something happens to my cat, it starts with his tail going crooked?

Lovebird Breeding Questions. I really need some answers here. Please help?

Okay so usually my lutino is always in the nestbox and my dutchblue is always standing on top of the box. The lutino barely ever comes out to eat or anything. Usually she just yells at the dutch and he comes in to feed her. Anyways, yesterday the lutino started laying eggs (only 2 for the time being). after she left the nest, the eggs were cold. I noticed that she simply stands in the box, she doesn't actually incubate the eggs. What is wrong with her? Secondly should I actually start soaking my birdseed for them? I have cooked egg (with shells), cuttlefish bones, veggies, fruit, and regular seed for them (anything I am missing?). When should I check the eggs again? I don't want to disturb the lutino in case I'm the reason she isn't incubating the eggs. The last two eggs though were infertile (at least I think they were). This might sound mean but I checked the two under a high powered light my dad has and only saw a yolk (no veins or anything). Should I actually be using a candle's light? I know I sound stupid but this is my first clutch. please help!

I have to admit that I enjoyed it, but there were flaws in the history. Spock never had a romantic involvement with Uhuru and would have never kissed a woman in public. In the movie they killed off Spock's mother, who I thought would come back after the whole time warp thing. But in the series later on, she is alive and well. Vulcan was never destroyed and Spock certainly never started a colony to restart his species. And one other thing that bothered me. Kirk just got the crap kicked out of him in the whole movie. Wi-Fi on my iPhone 2G is no longer working. Sometimes it will connect for a second and then disconnect, sometimes it cannot find any wireless at all. The device also freezes up when connecting/losing connection. All this still happens even when restored via iTunes and even after a DFU reset. I own a 1996 Chevy 1500 Mach III conversion van that I had noticed was running a little louder than usual. As for weight loss that is good that you are not losing then that would indicate a problem...I would not worry about malignancy! I believe the body is changing, and he may have you change your diet as well...but that fiber drink, I kid you not that is a miracle on it's own...My doctor said it is teaching your body how to work again...medicines are only temporary, but the fiber needs to be taken everyday....Trust me on the meds, my doctor before the G.I. doctor, had me on all anti-depressants out there, and they MADE me depressed, moron had no clue...when I met my G.I. he changed my life!!! Just because someone becomes a parent doesn't mean they're a good and decent human being. Your parents sound as though they weren't ready to have a child and are now left feeling angry and resentful about it. (NOT your fault, by the way.) Your mother does sound as though she has personality disorder or bipolar disorder. These things (your mother's possible mental illness, your father's lack of drive to deal with the situation, and their horrible parenting) are nothing you can fix. You sound as though you've been trying very hard in a very difficult situation and that's admirable, but I worry about the effect it is having on your own mental state. I would highly recommend trying again with a counselor. The sad truth is that you most likely never have the relationship you want and need with your parents. What you can do is accept that fact and move on and fill your life with people who truly do care about you and who are glad to have you in their lives. Getting out from the situation of living with your parents will most likely be a very good thing for you. I run a home daycare and have a bit of a strange family. Mom is a little odd in a goofy way, but Dad just plain creeps me out. It isn't that he has said anything wrong. Am I all of a sudden allergic to bare essentials after 4 years of use??

I have been using bare essentials for about 4 years and love it. All of a sudden I had a mive attack of hives this morning as I put the makeup on. I literally watched the hives pop up instantaneously in the mirror. My brush had some build up on it, that I think could just be old makeup (I've never cleaned the brush), but I'm panicked that it is some sort of freaky spores or something. I had a botched epidural with my recent delivery. The doctor continued to stab the needle in and out with no success, she never felt my back at all, just stabbed at me with the needle. Large brown spider with spotted white lines on back, not hobo, or recluse; don't know species. Any help?

I live in central Florida, and no other spider I've found looks anything like it. Its legs spread, it's about 2.5-3 inches leg to leg. It's abdomen is bigger than the size of a quarter, with no markings on the underbelly. A series of white spotted lines appear on the back. Its legs are slightly furry, but not like a tarantula. It does not jump, but runs. It also runs straight, not sideways. I've noticed them in my garage, patio, upstairs rooms and more recently, one enjoyed a shower with me. I also have a nature reserve in my backyard, as well as ponds and lakes in the surrounding area. I have searched the web for weeks now trying to find a resemblance but nothing comes close. Please help with identifying this spider!

I do not understand how my kitchen tongs work...?

I have these tongs (like the kind you use to pick up potatoes or something) and when you hold them pointing down and squeeze they open, but to close them you hold them pointing up and squeeze. They can't close when you point them down. How does this work? They look like normal tongs to me they don't have any kind of extra contraption that I can see.

I'm Spiteful...Am I the Only One?

For example, when I lived at home, if I was in an argument with a parent I would stay in my room all day and literally starve just to avoid going to the kitchen and possibly running into them - not out of fear, just pure spite.
