What's your opinion on public health care?

It's not about us not wanting to take care of others. It's about eliminated a private industry and giving it to the government to run or screw up, depending upon who you talk to. Most of the drugs and procedures that you have come to appreciate in Canada came from the US as a result of a private industry and the pursuit of profit. We have demonized the thought of making money, but the end result of that drive to make money is what has made the US the largest contributor to your health care. Coverage is a different matter, but I think you should thank the US for maintaining a private industry as you have benefitted.
