Proctor and gamble okay so i've been curious animal testing because a lot of my makeup?

is from the drugstore and i dont like the fact that i'm supporting animal testing so i stopped buying covergirl which is a proctor and gamble product and so i dawn dishwashing soap but when i was shopping today for dish washing soap i saw that dawn advertises the dishwashing soap for removing or cleaning animals such as penguins with oil and other stuff like that. im just so confused how a company would animal test but then use it for good on animals. please correct me if i am just confused any information i;d be happy to read thanks so much!
